Using toy-based activities that engage even very young or distractible children, the M-P-R provides a comprehensive developmental evaluation. It assesses all IDEA-specified domains: Cognitive Development; Language/Communication; Motor Development; Social–Emotional Behavior; and Self-Help/Adaptive Behavior.
Test results can be used to monitor premature infants; identify developmental delays; track improvements; evaluate children with hearing impairments, autism, or limited language skills; and meet IDEA assessment requirements for IFSPs and IEPs.
A training DVD offers administration and scoring instructions plus interpretive guidance.
