Satisfy your Independent Study Continuing Education requirements with WPS products
Step 1
Study a WPS test manual, training package, or handbook as you normally would in the course of your work.
Step 2
Purchase, complete, and submit the post-test materials for that manual, training package, or handbook.
Step 3
Receive your Certificate of Completion after passing the post-test.
Step 4
Submit your certificate to the appropriate licensing board, agency, or association for CE credit.
The WPS Professional Learning Center (WPS ProLearn™) provides access to online training and continuing education materials, including independent study materials, video-based training, live webinars, and support materials for in-person events. WPS also offers some additional post-test materials in print form for obtaining Independent Study credits. These materials are not yet available on the WPS ProLearn though we intend to make many of the offerings available in the future.
This page provides a list of currently available independent study continuing education (CE) opportunities and other CE-related information. Items with a ProLearn icon are available in online format on the WPS ProLearn. Items with a CE icon are available in print form. Both types of items can be added to your cart for purchase. If the purchased item is available on the WPS ProLearn, you will receive a follow-up email from WPS with information on how to access the materials on the WPS ProLearn. If the purchased item is available in print form, you will receive the item in the mail.
CE Provider Statements
The following CE provider statement applies to all Independent Study Continuing Education opportunities provided through WPS, whether on the WPS ProLearn or in print form.
WPS is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. WPS maintains responsibility for this program and its content.
The following general CE provider statement applies to Independent Study opportunities listed in the document AOTA-related information about independent study CEs for OTs except for those items within the document that display the new course-specific AOTA imprimatur.
WPS is an American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) Approved Provider of continuing education (Provider #3111). The assignment of AOTA CEUs does not imply endorsement of specific course content, products, or clinical procedures by AOTA.
The educational offerings available through WPS may qualify for continuing education credit as required by a variety of other national, state, and local licensing boards and professional organizations. If you need CE credit from an organization other than those listed, please contact your own board or organization to determine specific course and filing requirements.
