Here is a reliable intelligence test that includes conormed, supplemental measures of memory. The RIAS includes the following subtests:
- Verbal Problem Solving
- Verbal Reasoning (stressing acquired knowledge)
- Nonverbal Reasoning
- Spatial Ability
- Verbal Memory (optional measure of short-term and working verbal recall, and learning)
- Nonverbal Memory (optional measure of ability to recall pictorial stimuli in concrete and abstract dimensions)
These scales not only assess intellectual functioning but also allow you to evaluate the relationship between the client’s memory and cognitive skills. The RIAS provides the information you need to make decisions about classification, selection, and educational placement.
